Junior to Intermediate Accountant

Description

Robert Half is currently teaming up with a well-established and growing client in search of a Junior to Intermediate Accountant to join their finance team. This is an excellent opportunity to further your accounting career in a dynamic and thriving workspace.

The Junior to Intermediate Accountant will be responsible for a diverse range of duties including full cycle accounting, preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statement analysis among other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Full cycle accounting
• Assist in the month-end closing process
• Prepare and post journal entries as necessary
• Review and analyze financial statements and reports
• Monitor and manage project cash
• Assist in annual audit process
• Actively participate in budgeting and forecasting processes
• Perform account reconciliations
• Support tax filings requirements
• Comply with all internal controls, company policies and procedures, and regulatory guidelines
  
  

Requirements

• Previous relevant accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Ability to meet strict deadlines and manage multiple tasks
