Bartender

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Bartender to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the food and beverage industry, exceptional customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and serve drinks to customers
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the point-of-sale system
- Monitor inventory levels and restock bar supplies as needed

Skills:

· Will be required to open and close per shift

· Follow all operational policies and procedures including accurate execution of cash handling procedures/POS machine

· Maintain cleanliness and health & safety standards of your area.

· Minimum 3 yrs. Previous experience as a Server is preferred.
Current Applicable provincial certification in responsible alcohol service is required (Smart Serve)

· Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work as part of a team.

· Ability to multi-task and maintain high energy in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions.

· Commitment to consistent attendance and punctuality.

· Constant standing/walking for the duration of shift’

· Occasional pushing, pulling and light lifting.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week
