We are seeking a talented and passionate Tattoo Artist to join our creative team. As a Tattoo Artist, you will work closely with clients to understand their vision, create custom designs, and ensure a safe and enjoyable tattooing experience. Your expertise in sanitation and adherence to health regulations will be crucial in maintaining a clean and professional environment.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to discuss design ideas, preferences, and placement of tattoos.
• Create custom tattoo designs that reflect the client's vision while showcasing your artistic style.
• Prepare the workspace by sanitizing equipment and ensuring all tools are clean and organized.
• Apply tattoos using appropriate techniques while ensuring client comfort throughout the process.
• Educate clients on aftercare procedures to promote proper healing of their tattoos.
• Maintain a professional demeanor while providing excellent customer service during consultations and sessions.
• Upsell additional services or products related to tattoo care, enhancing the overall client experience.
• Assist with front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries.

Experience

• Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist with a strong portfolio showcasing your work is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage clients effectively.
• Experience in sales, particularly in retail settings, is a plus for upselling services or products.
• Familiarity with body waxing, nail care, or other beauty services can be beneficial but is not required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high sanitation standards in all aspects of your work.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 per week

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay

• French not required

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• aesthetician: 1 year (preferred)
