CLIENT CARE SPECIALIST Reports To

We are looking for a Client Care Specialist who is committed to ensuring client care is foremost in mind when making decisions and who will model, for all employees, top quality care for all clients. The Client Care Specialist will make sure clients have a point of contact to manage support requests and to respond to requests in a timely manner.
This person must have the ability to engage with clients in a positive and professional way through the client support process. They must be willing to work in a team environment and have outstanding communication skills with clients, families, and fellow employees. The duties of this job will include maintaining the company service standards to provide a consistently superior client experience, collaborating with both new and existing clients, to work through issues that they may be experiencing.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Deliver a positive can-do mentality, in a professional manner, that is responsive to client requests by email and phone in a timely manner. This will include managing leads and providing information about our services and how we can assist
- Schedule and meet with clients/families in their home, in a friendly and relaxed manner, to conduct assessments for care and to collaboratively determine a schedule for care
- Ensure all client information in the scheduling software is up-to-date and accurate. Ensure all client files and profiles in the software system are entered promptly and are updated as needed
- Regularly schedule client satisfaction visits, during which time client files will be updated
- Ensure all care plans are current and match client needs
- Communicate collaboratively with all Caregivers about client issues/concerns, ensuring all matters are addressed and everyone is made aware of any issues and/or changes to client care plan(s)
- Communicate promptly and professionally with all clients/families, managing any questions or concerns they may have
- Assist with the development of strategies for improving client care and communications with clients, families, and the internal team
- Handle investigation and resolution of client issues, concerns, and conflicts in collaboration with company director(s)
- Participate in team meetings to understand team priorities, and to offer solutions and suggestions for improvement of policies and procedures
- Complete the weekly schedules for your own client base
- May have opportunities to assist with implementation of education/training programs for Caregivers
- on call duties on average one weekend per month and one evening per week
Qualifications
- MUST have education and experience in health care provision (Nursing and/or CCA qualifications preferred)
- MUST have a compassionate demeanor and be dedicated to client-focused care
- MUST be available to begin work by August 26, 2024
- Ability to listen and communicate clearly, fluently, and diplomatically both verbally and in writing
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills and the ability to work independently as well as within a team
- Proficiency with technology and a willingness and curiosity to learn
- Experience with creating a culture of engagement, collaboration and teamwork
- Must be highly dependable with excellent organization skills
- Ability to remain flexible, resilient, calm and maintain a sense of humor; and present a well-groomed professional image
NOTE: All members of the Client Services Team are expected to be flexible enough to change roles as needed and perform additional duties other than those outlined above in order to best serve our clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $21.50-$23.50 per hour
