Sprung Studiosis looking for an experienced IT Lead to join our team!
We're interested in hearing from a skilled individual who can provide leadership and oversee the design, installation, implementation, operation, maintenance, and support of all department computer-based information systems.
We want to hear from you if you have previous experience handling and maintaining active directories, internal networks, on-site and off-site backups, configuring software at the command line level, and expertise in network security.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Project Coordination / Management
- Fully own the IT initiatives and infrastructure at Sprung Studios
- Supports, prioritizes and directs IT initiatives across both offices
- Coordinates and provides functional guidance, supervision, and management support to IT team member
- Assists with developing work objectives and advises Senior Management on critical issues related to system problems
- Assigns and coordinates workload based on Studio priorities
- Participates in project budget preparation and tracking of project expenditures
- Provides input into performance appraisals and performance reviews
- Engages in training for IT counterpart in the UK
Planning, Designing, and Implementation
- Assumes the project leader's role in all planning, designing, and implementation aspects
- Establishes architectural and process guidelines and standards to support consistent best practice methods
- Performs certification and quality assurance reviews to ensure systems perform by required standards
- Assists management in incorporating improvements into operating budgets
- Ensures minimal impact on end users during implementation phases
Systems Management and Support
- Investigates and resolves problems
- Monitors and maintains backup/recovery systems
- Ensures proper documentation and configuration information is maintained
- Helps streamline information technology operations
- Develops, implements, and maintains start-up and shutdown procedures
- Analyzes network utilization and traffic patterns
- Monitors and adjusts systems to ensure optimum performance
- Monitors system capacities/activities to ensure optimal usage
Security
- Responsible for developing, implementing, maintaining, and reviewing security standards and procedures to ensure only authorized individuals have access to the network, data, and information
- Implements, maintains, and monitors network perimeter defense systems (e.g., firewall and intrusion detection)
- Implements, maintains, and monitors network remote access systems
- Monitors, investigates, and reports on inappropriate access or use of information systems
- Ensures security standards are implemented on all new projects
- Ensures anti-virus definitions are up-to-date
Related Key Work Activities
- Manages client compliance
- Sets up user accounts and access permissions
- Monitors performance and maintains systems according to requirements
- Maintains internal infrastructure for WAN, LAN, and VPN connections
- Manages software licenses across the organization
- Evaluates productivity tools and other products for possible implementation
- Participates in the negotiation of Information Systems equipment, software, and service purchases
- Acts as liaison with business units, outside agencies, vendors, suppliers, consultants, and end-users
- Manages network servers and all hardware/software
What You Bring:
- Baccalaureate degree with a major in Computer Science
- Advanced knowledge of computers, networks, protocols, and telecommunications
- Supervisory and mentoring experience
- Experience with Active Directory and Networks (LAN, WAN, and VPN)
- Extensive knowledge of system security (e.g., intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery
- Strong research and organizational skills
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with Mac and Windows operating systems
- Experience with Google Suite
- Ability to work with international clients in a limited time frame
