Utilizing skills and aptitudes to support a variety of production needs.
Machining products to tight tolerances in non-manufacturing environment.
Working independently and as a team to achieve maximum quality.
Computing and verifying dimensions to ensure accuracy.
Observing all applicable safety practices and immediately reporting any unsafe practices or conditions.

The requirements for an ideal candidate include:
The ability to read and interpret manuals, technical drawings, and blueprints.
The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions.
The ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance.
The ability to stand for extended periods of time.
Winnipeg only: Successful completion of TOWES (Test of Workplace Essential Skills) which will be facilitated and paid for by StandardAero (Red Seal Journeypersons excluded).
Requirements for different levels of Machinist at StandardAero:
Machinist (Apprentice)
Enrolled or willing to enroll in a machinist apprenticeship
Minimal experience required
Machinist II
Completed Level II and/or III of a machinist apprenticeship program
