Mill Operator

Mill Operator Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the following, Gantry/Bridge Mill & TOS Horizontal Boring Mill
• Verify CNC programs
• Challenged daily in working with large complex & fabricated components, where material variation and conditions require an analytical approach to the machining of the product.
• Ability to work to tight tolerances and understand technical drawings well.
• Experience with complex setups and use of overhead cranes.
• Read machining drawings in metric and standard.
• Prove out of CNC Programs and first-part run-offs.
• Ability to read and understand manual CNC programs that will allow you to modify and edit.
  
  
  

Mill Operator Requirements

• Completion of High School/High School Diploma or equivalent
• Must have experience with CNC "CUSTOM - ONE OFF" machining of large fabrications, consisting of machine setup & Operation of CNC Boring Mills
• Excellent programming knowledge
• Ability to read & interpret blue prints, drawings, charts & tables.
• Motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong analytical skills and keen attention to detail.
• Experience working in a custom fabrication and machine shop
  
  
  

Employment Details:

Pay: $28-$32 depending on experience, OT after 44 hrs

Schedule: Afternoon Shift Monday-Thursday 4 pm - 3:30 am
