As Procurement and MIS Specialist, you will work closely with the Supply Chain team and COO to manage procurement processes and coordinate MIS implementation while following company policies and procedures. As a key member of the operations team, you’ll be joining a growing team that offers clean technologies solutions for our communities and our world.

Your responsibilities include:

Procurement

  • Effectively execute procurement strategies throughout procurement activities including RFBs, RFQs, evaluations, negotiations, award of purchase orders and agreements, etc.
  • Manage the procurement of products and services with domestic and international suppliers.
  • Negotiate and maintain contracts with vendors including terms, conditions, and collaborate with Finance and Operations to ensure adherence to procurement and contract management processes.
  • Ensure compliance of procurement process with applicable laws and regulations, directives, and trade agreements.
  • Develop procurement documents and contracts, and manage all aspects of the competitive procurement process to enhance perceived value of procurement.
  • Develop the procurement business case, including product and technical specifications, quality assurance, compliance requirements, evaluation criteria, sourcing recommendations, etc.
  • Analyze and evaluate supplier performance, and recommend alternative sourcing strategy to achieve just-in-time inventory management.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and key stakeholders.

Management Information System

  • Implement processes for management information systems.
  • Maintain and develop, in coordination with COO, product configurators and SQL Database.
  • Coordinate and manage implementation of management information systems with cross function teams.
  • Support system implementation and post implementation activities, implementing best practices to fully utilize system capabilities.
  • Maintain system and resolve issues to ensure timely resolution.
  • Develop process and documents for system policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Assist with system requirements, vendor selection, service contract negotiations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management or related field
  • Experience and/or education in Information Technology and MIS implementation

Experience

  • 5 years of experience in Procurement, Logistics, or related fields
  • Experience with international procurement and logistics
  • Experience in IT and MIS

Compensation: Base Salary of $60,000-80,000, depending on experiences.
