Qualifications:
- University Degree in Communication/Public Relations, Community Development, Business Administration, Social Work, Recreation Administration or a Degree that aligns to this field of work - Minimum 5 years experience in the field of communications/ public relations, community engagement and development, project management, working with community organizations, and budget management Skills required for success: - Fully developed organizational and project management skills - Proven ability in bringing together various stakeholders, consensus building, and facilitation - Excellent leadership, communication and interpersonal skills are required - Knowledge and experience in community development and facilitation - Able to effectively gather, synthesize, integrate, and interpret multi-faceted information from a wide range of sources - Comfortable working with multiple stakeholders including community groups, citizens, senior leadership, etc. - Proficient with various word processing, spreadsheet and presentation software including all Google Suite applications - Alignment to our Cultural Commitments and Leadership Competencies (https://bit.ly/4brRrXm) - Embracing a culture of equity, diversity, reconciliation and inclusion Conditions of Employment: - Valid Alberta Class 5 driver’s license (or provincial equivalent).
