Position Overview

A Houseperson assures the cleanliness of Guest floor corridors, foyers, stairwells, elevator doors, mirrors, and public vending areas as well as assist Room Attendants in order to maintain high standards of quality. A Houseperson is responsible for stocking linen closets with amenities and supplies. A Houseperson utilizes vacuums, brooms, and/or mops in the hallways, stairwells, vending areas, and foyers to maintain a clean environment for Guests. The Associate may be expected to work in other areas of the hotel when needed to assist operations to perform job duties not necessarily contained in this job description.

Experience

• Previous Guest Service experience is an asset - Not a requirement
• Previous experience working in a Hotel-type setting is an asset - Not a requirement

Requirements

• Must be available to work a variety of all shifts (Days, Evenings, Weekends, Long weekends, Holidays)
• Must be able to complete a Criminal Background Check to the hotel’s satisfaction.
