Equipment Operator: Snow Removal

We are looking for an Equipment Operator to join our Summit Truck & Equipment Repair team in Salmo BC on a casual, on-call basis for onsite snow removal. Position Benefits

• Flexible schedule on a casual on-call basis
• Starting wage of $35 per hour
• Direct deposit pay, twice monthly

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate wheel loader with bucket attachment to clear snow from our yard in Salmo
• Be pro-active and self-schedule for when snow is forecast
• Work late at night and during the night so that yard is cleared for the day
• Be on-call at all times during forecasted snow periods
• Maintain a high level of cleanliness and professionalism
  
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

As a member of the Summit Truck & Equipment Repair team, we expect you bring the following to the table:

• Self-starter who can anticipate when required to work
• Ability to work late at night and during the night, as required
• Willing and able to work in all weather conditions
• Valid Class 5 driver’s licence with clean abstract
