Established in 1959, we are a full-service roofing and waterproofing contractor dedicated to building long-term relationships with our customers through the installation, repair, and maintenance of industrial, commercial, and institutional buildings. As a full-service roofing contractor, we have completed over $500 million in roofing and waterproofing projects in Manitoba. From a humble beginning with 2 employees and 1 asphalt kettle, we have grown to over 100 dedicated employees during peak season and manage more than 500 roofs under our RoofCare program.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Roles and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Experience with sheet metal, cladding, and aluminum systems
• Installation of cap flashing, commercial eavestrough, and various other metals related to a project
• Attendance at pre-construction meetings as required
• Material storage and protection
• Responsible for installations including safety, housekeeping, and workmanship quality
• Proper use of all safety equipment at the job site
• Providing exceptional customer service

Requirements:

• Valid driver’s license (Class 5)
• Excellent English skills
• Intermediate computer skills – Ability to use software and apps
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Ability to lead and train new and existing crew members
• Comfortable working at heights
• Ability to follow safe work procedures
• Operation of construction machinery such as aerial lifts
• Willingness to work long days, overtime, and weekends as needed
• Minimum 5 years’ industry experience required

Physical demands:
This position may require occasional climbing, balancing, heavy lifting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. While performing job responsibilities, the employee is required to talk and hear and often be on their feet for extended periods.
