Casual Truck Driver

Looking for someone casual/part time. Able to work with a few days notice. (Asphalt experience is a bonus)

Paving- Raking and tamping
Patching
Running 1 to 10 ton rollers, rubber tire roller, skidsteer operation

Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a truck to transport goods from one location to another
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues and perform basic maintenance as needed
- Complete required paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries

Qualifications:
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL)
- Clean driving record with no major violations or accidents
- Proven experience as a truck driver or similar role
- Knowledge of truck maintenance and repair procedures

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $25.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

• French not required

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Port Colborne, ON L3K 5V5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

• Class 1 Licence (required)
