Account Manager

Venture Elevator Inc. is an independently owned and operated full service elevator/escalator Canadian company with its headquarters located in Prince George, BC. Canada. Venture Elevator is currently seeking dedicated people to join our company.Our current service area consists of Northern BC, Yukon and Alberta.

We are currently looking for Associate Account Manager to join our Edmonton, AB. Team.

Your responsibilities

• Deliver prepared presentations for prospective customers
• Negotiate prices and other job proposal terms
• Achieve monthly sales by seeking new contracts, offer job proposals with cost estimates, manage new and existing accounts
• Contact prospective or existing customers to maintain and increase customer base
• Determine scope of prospective job and visit job sites to check the status of current job
• Review & complete appropriate paperwork after job has been completed
• Follow Up / Investigate complaints from customers
• Contact customers for payment collection and suggest alternative options for payment
• Attend sales meetings and regional trainings
• Prepare booking packages
• Performs other duties as assigned

Your qualifications

· Demonstrated ability to adhere to deadlines and achieve goals and objectives

· A minimum of 5 years of Sales experience specific to the elevator trade

· Bachelor’s degree in business is preferred

· Proven ability to establish rapport and maintain relationships in local communities to grow our existing new customer base

· Excellent negotiation skills, offer suggestions based on customer needs

· Ability to work collaboratively with strong conflict resolution skill

· Demonstrated ability to seek out new business and customer opportunities.

Must be proficient with Excel, MS Office. Previous data entry experience required. Previous CRM systems experience an asset.

Preference will be given to individuals who have demonstrated ability to work independently and are experienced in service or industrial sector

*Travel within the geographic area of responsibility is a core requirement of this position.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
