Job Posting for Manager - Pricing Global Accounts at Wesco
As a Manager - Pricing Global Accounts you will develop and execute pricing strategy for global account pricing organization. You will lead a team of pricing analysts and managers to create optimal pricing solutions for large contractual customers. You will build strong cross functional relationships to create an effective, yet collaborative approach to achieving billing margin and price appreciation objectives. You will provide strategic vision based on changing customer, supplier, and market conditions.
Responsibilities:
Creates business plan and pricing strategy for global account pricing organization.
Leads execution of pricing strategy to meet contractual obligations, meet corporate billing margin objectives, and serves as framework to create profitable sales growth.
Establishes performance metrics and leads organization to meet goals.
Applies strong analytic and critical thinking skills to adapt to rapidly changing market conditions.
Uses strong communication and presentation skills to be able to build and defend business cases.
Provides training for staff, develops standard operating procedures, and provides performance feedback and appraisals.
Drives continuous improvement in processes, efficiency, and execution.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree required. MBA preferred.
4 years of price management experience required, 6 years preferred.
2 years of pricing management with large contract customers required, 3 years preferred.
1 year of management supervision experience required, 2 years preferred.
2 years of WESCO system experience preferred.
Understanding of pricing strategy, tactics, and structures.
Ability to lead, train, and develop a team.
Ability to multitask and set priorities across a varied workload.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and problem solving.
Ability to make strategic decisions with limited data.
Electrical product knowledge.
Excellent communication, analytic, and presentation skills.
