Alarm Technician

Wiltech Security Systems is looking for a security/alarm technician to join our team. In this position, the candidate will be assisting with installations; pre-wiring, and implementation of security systems.

• Qualifications:
• Valid BC Security workers License (obtain and maintain)
• Knowledge of the BC Electric Code
• Valid BC Drivers License
• TQ Certificate or minimum one year in the low voltage security industry
• Have own set of hand and power tools and experience working with these tools.
• Successful candidate would be:
• A professional, hardworking, naturally neat, punctual and detailed individual.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose technical issues
• Security and low voltage wiring in new custom home builds and commercial buildings,
• Communication skills essential to train customers with new security system, cameras and smart devices apps.
• Experience with basic networks and configuration of security systems etc.
• Must be capable of lifting, climbing ladders, working in small areas and operation of power lifts.
• Install camera and card access systems.
• Ability to work independently and or with other co workers and trades.
• Detailed paperwork from Technicians essential for Administration and office staff to run efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
