Pipefitter

WorleyCord Teamco Ltd., a subsidiary of WorleyCord Lp., is seeking:

Journeyperson & Apprentice Pipefitters

To work at our Gibbons Project in the Edmonton area

SALARY: Up to $47.6 per hour

OVERTIME: After 8 hours in a day, or 40 hours in a week

START DATE: ASAP

SCHEDULE: 10 days on, 4 days off

HOURS PER DAY: 40 hours per day

PAY SCHEDULE: Weekly Pay (Friday)

SHIFT: Dayshift

ACCOMODATIONS: Local Position

DURATION: on going

WORK SCOPE: Cut & cap piles, set 9 Modules, Install and bolt up piping spools and valves, pipe supports and misc. structural steel, weld structural steel and piping.

Working Conditions:

Full-time, Temporary

Work will be primarily outdoors in various weather conditions

Requirements:

• Must have a valid Journeyperson or Apprentice Certification from a recognized provincial training authority
• CSTS 2020 Certification
• WHMIS2015
• ESC Elevated Work Platform
• ESC Fall Protection
• Must have demonstrated ability to work under minimal supervision
• Previous industrial construction experience is an asset

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving and bending of pipes, valves and fittings
• Assembles and installs piping sections according to blueprints and job specifications
• Performs physically demanding tasks such as cutting openings for pipe while standing for extended periods of time and securing pipe in hard-to-reach areas
• Uses testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors
• May perform other related duties as assigned
• Complete all required safety documentation
• Working at heights and outdoors

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $47.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:

• pipefitting: 1 year (preferred)
