Cable Technician

Summary: YORK1 is seeking a dedicated Cable Technician to wire new and existing residential buildings with data, fiber, and coax cables. The ideal candidate will ensure installations are done safely and efficiently, following company standards. 

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean abstract
• Ability to climb ladders safely up to 28ft
• Physically fit to bend, lift, and climb
• Proficient with power tools and miscellaneous hand tools
• Own transportation to the job site
• Commitment to safe work practices and teamwork
• Provide own miscellaneous hand tools (list will be provided)
• Provide own PPE
• Willingness to work night shifts when required

Duties:

• Wire new and existing residential buildings with data, fiber, and coax cables safely and efficiently
• Install final termination plates in finished suites
• Clip cables/EMT on ceiling and wall applications using provided materials
• Pull cables in previously installed conduits
