Our objectives to inspire you
- As part of the Finance Services Management Team, you lead the R2R operations supporting approx. 225 E.ON business units with various accounting services across three locations (Regensburg, Essen in Germany and Cluj in Romania). You will oversee a team of around 113 FTE directly and 200 FTE functionally, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and customer centricity.
- As Head of Record to Report, you ensure high-quality financial statements for national and international E.ON entities and drive process improvements to continuously enhance efficiency and effectiveness of services delivered.
- As visionary, you provide process ownership for R2R processes and ensure governance based on a standardized ERP platform, design and implement strategies focused on standardization, digitalization and automation, and foster a customer-oriented business support.
- As playmaker, you manage the R2R tower budget, monitor financial performance, ensure cost-effective operations while maintaining high-quality service standards.
- As a reliable partner, you manage internal and external stakeholders, build and maintain strong relationships with customers ensuring their needs are understood and addressed effectively.
- As motivator, you lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team, promote a culture of continuous learning and foster a digital mindset and constructive cooperation to drive change and achieve results.
How Do You Know You Are The Right Fit
- University degree in economics with profound accounting/finance process and ERP knowledge, preferably including SAP S/4
- Several years of business experience in Accounting and Reporting
- Several years of experience in management/leadership position
- Profound knowledge about IFRS and German accounting specifics (HGB), record-to-report as well as accounting processes specific to the energy industry
- Experienced in an international environment and in managing and being responsible for all accounting issues in a multi-national corporation
- Ability to lead with passion, inspiring, motivating and aligning people towards a joint target
- A trustful, integrative and team-oriented personality with the ability to handle conflicts and critical situations
- Highest customer focus with proven skills for stakeholder management and problem solving
- Ability to think in E2E processes & Digitalization know-how with proven track record
- Business fluent German and English language skills
- Willingness to regular international travel
