WALTHAM, MA (July 6, 2021) -- Salary.com’s Chris Fusco, SVP of Compensation, and Lenna Turner, Director of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion, will deliver the closing keynote address at the Pennsylvania Chamber of Commerce's Equality of Opportunity Conference. Taking place on July 15, 2021, from 7:30am to noon, the virtual conference will focus on implementing a sustainable diversity, equality and inclusion business strategy.
Fusco and Turner’s presentation, DEI Audit Process and Using Data to Drive your DEI Strategy, will offer attendees insights from recent Salary.com research that analyzed the gaps between corporate intentions on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DE&I), and the actions these companies currently have underway. They will also share best practices for closing these gaps between intentions and actions and how to make meaningful progress with DE&I initiatives, with a focus on pay equity.
“We're excited to have this opportunity to share with Pennsylvania, businesses insights into where other companies are succeeding, and struggling, with DE&I and, most importantly, the steps they can take to create more inclusive and equitable work environments,” said Fusco.
Other sessions include: The Allusion of Inclusion, a panel discussion facilitated by Jewell Lester, VP Operations and Finance, COO of the PA Chamber of Business and Industry; The Case for Implementing a DEI Program, featuring Tina Nixon, Vice President Mission Effectiveness, Diversity & Inclusion at UPMC Pinnacle; and Going from Survive to Thrive, Recruiting and Developing Talent by Bony Dawood, Owner of Dawood Engineering.
