The Scientist I for Cytiva is responsible for.

  • Execute basic complexity test work is completed as required, write reports, meet on-time-delivery expectations with minimal guidance.
  • Review job request, relevant MSDS and fully understand requirements is in accordance with laboratory SOPs, Laboratory maintenance, operate and be able to troubleshoot all equipment/instrumentation necessary to support testing, with minimal guidance.
  • Ensure raw data is recorded into laboratory notebook (or similar). Immediately notify laboratory management of any test delays, problems, or deviations
  • Support basic complexity internal test work in support of R&D, NPI, NPD, QC release testing, etc – as required by management.

This position is part of the Biotech Integrated Solutions; Fast Trak Validation Services located in Bengaluru, India and will be on-site. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • Skilled to perform microbiology test work and execute work instructions with Aseptic laboratory techniques, Applicable GLP & GMP and measurement methods.
  • Provide scientific analysis of data (able to apply a basic knowledge of scientific principles)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Desire to work closely with a diverse team and team player.
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in microbiology or Life Science

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:

  • 2-year relevant industry experience
