Summary
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for editing and post-production of video content to create engaging, visually appealing, and high-quality videos. You will work closely with the creative team to transform raw footage into polished video content that aligns with the company's brand and objectives. Your technical expertise, creative flair, and attention to detail will play a crucial role in delivering compelling video material for various platforms, such as websites, social media, advertisements, and other marketing channels.
Responsibilities
Video Editing
Edit raw video footage to create visually appealing and cohesive videos.
Ensure seamless transitions, proper pacing, and visual continuity.
Use video editing software and tools proficiently to enhance and refine video content.
Post-Production
Add graphics, animations, visual effects, and other elements to enhance the video quality.
Incorporate music, sound effects, and voiceovers to complement the video content.
Color grading and correction to ensure consistency and aesthetics.
Storytelling and Narrative
Work closely with the creative team to understand the vision and story behind each video project.
Collaborate on developing video concepts and ensure the final product aligns with the intended message.
Quality Control
Review and refine video content to maintain a high level of quality and accuracy.
Identify and correct any technical issues or errors in the final output.
File Management
Organize and maintain video files and assets in a structured manner.
Ensure all files are properly labeled and archived for easy retrieval.
Adaptation and Optimization
Edit videos to fit different platforms and aspect ratios, such as social media posts, website headers, etc.
Optimize videos for different devices and screen sizes.
Creative Input
Offer creative suggestions and ideas during brainstorming sessions and project discussions.
Collaboration
Work collaboratively with the creative team, content creators, and other stakeholders.
Be open to feedback and incorporate changes as required.
Requirements
Proven work experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
Proficiency in video editing software (e.g Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, canva , filmora, after effect etc.).
Familiarity with video file formats, codecs, and video compression techniques.
Knowledge of visual effects, motion graphics, and animation is a plus.
Strong understanding of storytelling, composition, and visual aesthetics.
Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
A keen eye for detail and a passion for creating visually appealing content.
