The Pricing & Billing Team is a dedicated team of project and client facing resources focused on large scale change initiatives to address billing and pricing business requirements across Securities Services. The group provides a unique mix of project skills, product experience & discipline enabling it to provide a consistent, high-quality and responsive approach to manage and execute change across the firm.
The Associate will be responsible for driving data analytics, coordinating with billing partners to determine execution/planning approach and constructing/delivering outbound communication channels to stakeholders to ensure buy in & commitment to expedite cross product efforts focused on streamlining both the Billing operations and the Technology landscape.
Job Responsibilities :
Define end to end business processes, conduct gap analysis and partner with stakeholders to deliver optimum business solutions
Create and review the Test Plan which will include but not limited to UAT Test Scenarios, Test Scripts, Test Coverage (including entry and exit criteria), Test Strategy, Test Methods, Test Responsibilities
Execute test scripts
Provide training on best practices and industry wide standardized Testing approaches
Assist in the delivery of monthly/quarterly reporting on the testing results and SOP documentation uplifts where necessary
Support management in performing feasibility checks and proof of concepts for non-traditional projects
Actively seek and participate in process improvement and data remediation efforts across projects
Perform end to end User Acceptance, Regression & Functional Testing
Track and document test results inclusive of defect management (identification and analysis of defects, partnering with key stakeholders to ensure timely bug resolution)
Develop efficiency tools to assist with test scripts and testing automation
Build competency assessment tests for testers
Required qualifications, capabilities and skills :
Bachelor’s Degree and/or Graduate Degree in Engineering/ Statistics/ Management
2-4 years relevant experience in Software Development Life Cycle management (requirements analysis, test design, test preparation, test execution and defect management)
Ability to identify and analyse problems and propose effective corrective solutions to meet business, and/or system requirements
Ability to extract data from firm-wide systems and tools and implement data analysis techniques to conduct complex analysis and derive tangible business insights
Proficient in Microsoft Office (SharePoint, Word, Advanced Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Experience in project management is preferred
Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is a plus
Experience in Visual Basic Application, SQL is a plus
Knowledge/ Exposure to Big Data is a plus
