We are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join our team as an On-Site Interior Designer & Client Liaison. The ideal candidate will have a passion for interior design, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage projects on-site while maintaining strong relationships with clients.
Responsibilities:
On-Site Project Management:
Oversee all aspects of interior design projects on-site, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of design plans.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues that arise, and provide solutions in real-time.
Client Interaction and Relationship Management:
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, maintaining open and clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Conduct initial consultations with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
Present design concepts, proposals, and recommendations to clients in a professional and persuasive manner.
Address client feedback and requests promptly, making necessary adjustments to design plans as needed.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their satisfaction and fostering repeat business and referrals.
Design Development and Implementation:
Collaborate with the design team to develop creative and innovative interior design concepts that align with client objectives and project requirements.
Prepare detailed drawings, renderings, mood boards, and presentations to illustrate design concepts and specifications.
Source materials, furnishings, fixtures, and accessories that meet project requirements while staying within budget constraints.
Oversee the installation and implementation of design plans on-site, ensuring accuracy and quality craftsmanship.
Project Documentation and Administration:
Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, invoices, change orders, and other relevant paperwork.
Keep accurate records of project expenses, timelines, and milestones, and provide regular updates to clients and stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and industry standards throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Interior Design or a related field.
Proven experience of 2 years working as an interior designer, with a focus on on-site project management and client interaction.
Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, contractors, and team members.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail and meeting deadlines.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and finishes.
Willingness to travel to project sites as needed and work flexible hours to accommodate client schedules.
A portfolio showcasing past interior design projects and on-site experience is required.
