Painter

• Prepare surfaces for painting, including cleaning, sanding, and priming walls, ceilings, doors, and trims.
• Apply paints, varnishes, or other finishes to various surfaces, including wood, metal, plaster, and drywall.
• Ensure the proper mixing and blending of paints to match resort color schemes.
• Repair and maintain previously painted surfaces to ensure they are free from peeling, cracking, or other imperfections.
• Use appropriate tools, including brushes, rollers, and spray equipment, to complete painting jobs.
• Ensure proper safety practices, including using drop cloths and masking off areas to avoid paint spills or splashes.
• Work closely with the resort’s maintenance team to schedule and complete painting tasks with minimal disruption to guests.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of paint supplies and order as needed.
• Identify areas for improvement and recommend repairs or touch-ups as necessary.
• Assist with other resort maintenance tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a professional painter, preferably in a resort or hospitality setting.
• Knowledge of painting techniques and tools.
• Ability to work on ladders and scaffolding in both indoor and outdoor environments.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow specific instructions and color schemes.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods.
• Knowledge of safety protocols and the ability to work with hazardous materials.
• Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
• Flexibility to work weekends or overtime, as required by resort operations.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with wallpapering or specialty finishes.
• Basic knowledge of general maintenance tasks, such as carpentry or drywall repair.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
