Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in Chengalpattu. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales of laptops and accessories, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in retail sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Sales and Customer Service
  • Greet customers as they enter the store and offer assistance.
  • Understand customer needs and recommend suitable laptops and accessories.
  • Demonstrate product features and benefits, addressing any customer questions.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the management.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
  • Product Knowledge
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest laptop models, specifications, and accessories.
  • Stay informed about competitor products and pricing to offer competitive solutions.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge.
  • Store Operations
  • Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked with products.
  • Assist in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
  • Support visual merchandising efforts to create appealing product displays.
  • Sales Reporting
  • Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
  • Prepare and submit sales reports to the Store Manager regularly.
  • Team Collaboration
  • Work closely with team members to achieve store objectives.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales and customer service.

Qualifications:

  • Education and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in electronics or technology products.
  • Strong understanding of laptops, their features, and related accessories.
  • Skills and Abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Technical Skills
  • Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management practices.
