We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Executive to join our team in Chengalpattu. The Sales Executive will be responsible for driving sales of laptops and accessories, providing exceptional customer service, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology, strong interpersonal skills, and a proven track record in retail sales.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales and Customer Service
Greet customers as they enter the store and offer assistance.
Understand customer needs and recommend suitable laptops and accessories.
Demonstrate product features and benefits, addressing any customer questions.
Achieve and exceed sales targets set by the management.
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns professionally.
Product Knowledge
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest laptop models, specifications, and accessories.
Stay informed about competitor products and pricing to offer competitive solutions.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance product knowledge.
Store Operations
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked with products.
Assist in inventory management, including receiving, stocking, and organizing merchandise.
Support visual merchandising efforts to create appealing product displays.
Sales Reporting
Maintain accurate records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory levels.
Prepare and submit sales reports to the Store Manager regularly.
Team Collaboration
Work closely with team members to achieve store objectives.
Participate in team meetings and contribute ideas for improving sales and customer service.
Qualifications:
Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
Proven experience in retail sales, preferably in electronics or technology products.
Strong understanding of laptops, their features, and related accessories.
Skills and Abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to build rapport with customers and understand their needs.
Strong negotiation and closing skills.
Detail-oriented with good organizational skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
Technical Skills
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) systems and other retail software.
