The Job Title: Data Analyst (Web Performance Analytics) Location Status: GIA offers fully remote opportunities (subject to management approval in the states of AZ, CA, CT, DE, HI, ID, IL, LA, MA, MI, MN, NV, NJ, NY, NC, OH, OR, SC, TN, TX, UT and WA). The Data Analyst will play a critical role in helping GIA understand, report on, analyze and continuously optimize the user experience across the institute’s digital product ecosystem. Qualified candidates will have prior experience deriving insights from data and making recommendations to increase operational efficiency to ensure a product/service is performing as intended. This role will work closely with our business partners and IT stakeholders to drive the effective use of our digital assets. Responsibilities: · Develop and deploy visualizations and dashboards (i.e., PowerBI) · Conduct ongoing support of existing solutions to ensure user experiences are maintained and optimized for use · Analyze operational data across GIA’s digital ecosystem to deliver insights, identify gaps in tracking, and make recommendations for optimization that will increase the user experience · Define best practices to measure performance tracking metrics that support the operations of digital activities · Automation of actions/notifications to the relative stakeholders based on key metrics and SLA’s Competencies: · Proficient in SQL and comfortable using tools and environments across various platforms (i.e., Snowflake, Catchpoint, Oracle, PowerBI) · Analytical skills, with the ability to identify insights to help drive business performance and shape strategy · Familiarity with processes, ceremonies, and best practices of iterative development processes, such as Agile Methodologies and Scrum · Ability to define user stories from high level features, and facilitate them through design and development iterative processes · Understanding of how to build the right features through the lens of customer desirability, business viability, and technology feasibility Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience; background in statistics, operations research or data science • Minimum of 3 years of experience in digital analytics, web traffic operations and monitoring • SQL knowledge • Experience with Agile development practices, such as Scrum and Extreme Programming Why Should You Apply? - Great benefits! - Reasonable hours that provide work-life balance! - Professional and educational development opportunities!
