The NCR is responsible for assisting patients with menu selection, and ensuring that patients receive meals and nourishments in accordance with diet prescriptions and individual preferences. Duties include screening patients for nutritional risk, taking patient food orders in person and entering them into MICROS, updating patient information in GemServe as required, correcting menu choices under supervision and alerting the supervisor and clinical nutrition staff to any patient issues. Other duties include serving patient trays, nourishments and cleaning. EDUCATION: High School Graduate or GED required. EXPERIENCE: Minimum of one year experience in food service or patient care. College course work in clinical nutrition or nutrition therapy may be substituted for work experience. This is a bargaining unit position.
