Job Title: Manufacturing Material Handlers / First Shift Job Location: Dayton, Ohio Starting Pay Rate: $18.50 per hour with a $1000 Sign-On Bonus Trimble Americas Regional Fulfillment Center (ARFC), located in Dayton, Ohio is hiring Manufacturing Material Handlers to work full-time weekend shifts. Your schedule will be Monday through Thursday from 6 AM to 4:40 PM In this role, you will track and process the general flow of inventory throughout the manufacturing process. You will work in a clean, state-of-the-art, temperature-controlled environment, with a team that’s committed to helping you succeed. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure production lines have adequate levels of materials for the production process Enter finished good production figures into the computer system to adjust inventory levels Transport finished goods to assigned areas for shipment or further production requirements Verify the accuracy of incoming inventory part numbers and amounts Perform daily cycle counts as assigned Other projects as assigned Qualifications: The items listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, and/or abilities essential to perform this job successfully Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the role Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or equivalent; OR one year of related experience; OR equivalent combination of education and experience Basic MS Office skills with a focus on MS Excel Additional Skills: Must be able to read and understand written and verbal instructions Must be able to effectively communicate with employees at various levels of the organization Ability to prioritize and multitask Ability to recognize when situations should be escalated to management Must have high attention to detail. Must be able to work independently Physical Demands and Work Environment/Safety: The physical demands described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job While performing the duties of this job, the employee spends a significant part of the day standing and walking throughout the manufacturing area Employee will use hands and fingers to open boxes, move materials, operate computer keyboard and mouse Employee may lift up to 55 lbs. Frequent lifting is 20 lbs Employee must wear appropriate PPE when on the manufacturing floor Employee will operate pallet jack and drive powered industrial equipment to assist with material handling About Our Division: Trimble is a global leader in industrial technology and our Dayton distribution center is at the heart of it all.
