The Senior Marketing Manager, Consumer, Hematology Marketing will contribute to the planning and tactical execution for our consumer marketing plans. This role will provide leadership required to drive the consumer brand strategy for the CLL and MCL indications. Key areas of focus for this role include understanding key consumer and market insights, developing a comprehensive strategy and tactics with clear performance metrics, and agency and budget management.
This position will report directly into the Director of Marketing and will work in close partnership with marketing colleagues across the entire brand team. The role will work collaboratively across the Hematology Franchise and the Oncology Business Unit and will play a meaningful role in integrating the execution of our marketing plans across current and future indications.
This position is based at our Gaithersburg, MD campus, headquarters for our US Oncology business, as well as the US Commercial Center for multiple Therapeutic Areas of our Global Product and Portfolio Strategy businesses.
Key Accountabilities:
Develop consumer/patient marketing strategy and tactical planning
Facilitate development and execution of patient promotional plan and programs, ensure alignment with brand strategy
Translate the brand science and strategy into consumer-friendly terms in an effort to make a positive impact on patients' lives
Provide input on direct-to-consumer strategy and execution for the Business Strategy Planning annual process
Establish consumer marketing important metrics
Build alliances with internal customers such as Business Insights and Analytics, Corporate Affairs, Payer Access Strategy and Brand Team members to help with cross-functional planning and to ensure a strong, evidence-based approach to support the delivery of consumer materials
Partner closely with agency to ensure efficient delivery of consumer deliverables, including efficient workflows and impactful, insights-driven content
Ensure legal/regulatory compliance and medical accuracy of all marketing materials
Qualifications
Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in relevant field
Prior commercial experience with consumer or HCP marketing required experience in pharmaceutical and/or healthcare industry with experience in one or more of the following: consumer marketing, HCP marketing, new product planning, brand marketing, sales, or market research/analytics, planning
Oncology or specialty care experience highly preferred
Skills

Demonstrated ability to lead without authority
Ability to gauge the feasibility, impact and risks of proposed programs

Possess strong eye for business skills, as role is responsible for leading multiple programs across tumors, timelines, process and procedures, and being a steward of the consumer budgets
