In this pivotal role, you will report into the EPD Supply Chain Collaboration Transformation Lead and will also have dotted line collaborating with the Global Supply Chain Director of Strategic Planning & Operations. External Planning and Delivery are focused on transforming the processes in which we engage with our Contract Manufacturers and Direct Material Suppliers. As part of this transformation, the Supply Chain Data Manager will be directly involved in the transformation projects and will be responsible for participating in systems data mapping and managing the accuracy, integrity, and timely creation and maintenance of data in Amgen’s Supply Chain & Operations systems. Responsibilities: Core participant in our supply chain collaboration (SCC) transformation project, including blueprinting, design, and implementation Mapping data sources and collaborating with business/technical stewards to find opportunities to automate data collection and maintenance Crafting quality checks, defining and maintaining business rules, and performance reporting and visualization. Develop and implement policies, guidelines, business definitions, metrics, and standards for handling data supporting supply chain collaboration as well as other operations data related to contract manufacturing and raw material planning Maintain documentation and be the SME on data definitions, data flows, legacy data structures, access rights models, etc. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to unlock new data elements that support business processes enhancements and strategic decision making Performing system testing for master data-related SAP / SCC Enhancements. Govern and evolve current data integration standards, policies, and procedures Developing operation management plans, updating procedures, and creating training materials Win What we expect of you We are all different, yet we all use our unique contributions to serve patients. Basic Qualifications: Doctorate degree OR Master's degree and 2 years of directly related experience OR Bachelor's degree and 4 years of directly related experience OR Associate's degree and 10 years of directly related experience OR High school diploma / GED and 12 years of directly related experience. Preferred Qualifications: Established expertise and knowledge of Pharmaceutical/Biotech Supply Chain and GMP processes Strong data analysis and critical thinking skills with experience in maximizing data from SAP or like systems Prior experience leading process change and/or systems implementation strongly preferred Ability to form relationships, collaborate, and influence across a multifunctional matrix organization Ability to effect change and build consensus on definitions with groups of individuals Ability and willingness to understand and represent the total-enterprise perspective Ability to lead multiple projects and to be accountable for individual results Organized and achievement-oriented to continuously drive performance representing different viewpoints Experience interacting with external partners and suppliers Experience in SAP and/or Rapid Response ERP environments Expertise in SQL, Tableau, Smartsheet or like platforms Digital approach and interest in growing digital capabilities within our organization Thrive Some of the vast rewards of working here As we work to develop treatments that take care of others, we also work to care for our teammates’ professional and personal growth and well-being.
