Job Description Summary
The Specialist of North America Procurement, Corporate, will be responsible for supporting Procurement for ~$40 million in corporate business expenditures.
This role will serve as an important supporter to the Corporate procurement team by establishing long & short-term objectives category strategies aligned with the company’s mission & strategic goals related to growth, cost savings, supply continuity & risk management. This role will contribute to a strategy & execute the full source to contract cycle while serving as a trusted partner/advisor to internal stakeholders.
In addition, the Specialist will be tasked with acting as a change agent, advancing procurement capabilities & adopting strategic sourcing from a company-wide perspective. The role is expected to improve procurement processes. The successful candidate will possess outstanding people skills & the ability to interface at all levels of the company.
Job Description
- Own a $40m “book of business” & align to company cost, quality, delivery & service requirements
- Collaborating with executives/internal stakeholders to improve procurement strategies
- Elevating Procurement’s status as a trusted partner in Lamb Weston through customer centricity
- Efficient communication of strategies, priorities, goals, challenges & results to executives stakeholders
- Leading complex sourcing efforts & negotiating with suppliers
- Passionately supporting ESG outcomes for assigned categories
- Consulting with Legal to enable negotiation of contracts in an efficient & effective manner
Basic & Preferred Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in Procurement, Supply-Chain, HR or Finance
- Experience in the Food Manufacturing Industry a plus
- Bachelor’s degree is required
- Exceptional interpersonal, verbal & written communication skills
- Capability to operate in uncertain environments & deliver under pressure
- Natural influencer & persuasive at all levels of the business

A reasonable annual estimate of the range for this role based on the variables previously mentioned is: $67,450.00 - $101,190.00
