Pilot Controls Engineer

This position is for a controls engineering technician for a lithium ion pilot manufacturing plant. The desired candidate will provide technical solutions, work autonomously, and provide support to pilot operations and maintenance functions by troubleshooting a wide variety of manufacturing equipment. Must have a strong focus on process controls, safety, and innovation. The ideal candidate will have experience with PLC and HMI hardware and software (Allen Bradly and others) along with familiarity of network and communication system (Ethernet, TCP/IP, DeviceNet, et al.). Additional experience with robotics (Fanuc, Mitsubishi, Staubli, and others), conveying systems, high speed automation, GE Proficy (MES), and electrical distribution is preferred.
