As a Back Office Specialist, you'll be instrumental in ensuring smooth administrative operations, contributing to our mission of enhancing patient outcomes globally.
What You'll be doing:
Manage and update medical records and transportation databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
Diagnose, identify, and resolve complex software/hardware issues originating from the call center/help desk environment.
Provide operational support to both customers and internal personnel over the phone, ensuring smooth and effective communication.
Coordinate the exchange of malfunctioning devices with operational ones, strictly adhering to company protocols.
Ensure all customer interactions are meticulously recorded online, maintaining comprehensive and accurate records.
Identify and implement necessary changes to improve the accuracy of troubleshooting trees and reference materials.
Assess the performance of call center workers by monitoring calls and documentation, identifying areas for mentorship, and verifying compliance with protocols and quality standards.
Compile data, prepare reports, and conduct trending analysis such as monthly scorecards and tracker reports to support business decisions.
Develop and update existing procedures and job aids, ensuring they are current and efficient.
Aid less experienced employees in their daily tasks, improving their knowledge and skills by directing them to detailed resources.
Build training content, such as training videos and scripts, to support the onboarding process and ongoing development of team members.
Maintain tools that the team applies, like SharePoint and team pages, to ensure they are functional and up-to-date.
Monitor systems, schedules, attendance queues, and blocking issues, and bring them up to IT when necessary, ensuring uninterrupted operations.

Intermediate software application skills are essential for this role.

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all our employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. To that end, this position has a base salary range of $56,000 to $65,000. The above range represents the expected base salary range for this position. The actual salary may vary based upon several factors including, but not limited to, relevant skills/experience, time in the role, business line, and geographic/office location. Baxter offers dental and medical insurance, paid time off, parental leave, and more.
