Senior Accounting Analyst

Job Description Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities Ownership over accounting life cycle of events (from pipeline to final job wrap), ensuring best in class monitoring and tracking of all revenue/costs on a real time basis across various systems Responsible for all client invoicing and maintaining A/R aging, providing reports to Controller on a weekly basis and creating any necessary bad debt reserves Review all contracts to ensure appropriate accounting under US GAAP Look after all aspects of vendor payments (including setting up new vendors, creating payment lists, coding invoices, etc.) in close partnership with outsourced partners, production staff, and Controller Review Concur and corporate card expenses to ensure proper coding Implement and maintain processes, reporting tools, and controls to ensure consistency, accuracy, and speed of reporting Assist in month-end close process, including journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and ad hoc reporting Prepare cash-flow forecasts and manage disbursement requests Supply relevant information throughout audit process and preparation of statutory accounts Assist in data gathering for planning Ad hoc reporting and special projects as needed Unusual Challenges or Circumstances e.g. shift(s)/ unsocial hours/ travel etc. Will be required to work occasionally outside of standard working hours or on weekends particular during large events and month-end close PERSON SPECIFICATION Knowledge and Experience Mandatory 3-5 years of accounting/finance experience in a fast moving dynamic environment Strong IT skills (especially Microsoft Excel) Strong bookkeeping knowledge Basic knowledge of US GAAP Desirable Event experience SAP accounting software Skills and Abilities Mandatory Excellent communication skills Excellent planning & organizational skills to achieve multiple & sometimes conflicting deadlines Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to interact with all levels of management and across functions/departments Qualifications and Training Desirable Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field CPA Aptitude Mandatory Strong focus on seeking efficiencies with attention to detail Ability to work proactively and individually but also as a team player Problem solver and solution-centric Self-starter Endeavor is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive work environment.
