Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Ensures exemplary guest services through all forms of greeting guests, having a positive friendly first impression whether it be in person or on the phone.
Greet incoming and departing Guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact;
escort them to the assigned dining area; present menus; announce servers name.
Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
Manage the flow of Guests into the Dining, Patio and Bar areas, and provide accurate wait times to incoming Guests if appropriate.
Tend to special Guest needs and requests
Properly open and pour wine at the tableside.
Observant to Guests' needs throughout the dining experience to ensure they receive
high-quality service.
Protect establishment and patrons by adhering to sanitation, safety and alcohol control policies.
Helps other dining room servers by setting and clearing tables; replenishing water; serving
beverages and other serving duties when needed.
Issue dining charges by verifying orders; calculating taxes; totaling bills for to-go
Receive payments by validating credit charges; accepting currency; calculating and issuing change for all orders.
Cleans and organizes the restocking of equipment/products.
Understands safety responsibilities as well as environmental laws by following established procedures, policies, training and involvement activities.
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
Performs other duties that could be assigned.
Minimum Requirements, Qualifications and Characteristics
High School diploma and prefer at least
1-year industry experience.
Must have excellent verbal communication skills.
Passion for providing extraordinary service.
Passionate about food and beverage
The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work a variety of shifts.
Must be able to read and understand simple instructions, memos and short correspondence and invoices.
Must have basic math.
Understands simple computer applications.
Must be able to articulate clear greetings and farewells to guests, as well as be able to understand requests for assistance.
Must be able to exercise sound judgment and problem-solving skills and develop effective proactive solutions.
Must be able to collaborate effectively in a team environment.

Physical Functions:

respond to Guest requests.
