Adventist HealthCare Outpatient Rehabilitation seeks to hire a Therapy Aide/Patient Access Technician for our Rehab Department, who will embrace our mission to extend God’s care through the ministry of physical, mental and spiritual healing. As a Therapy Aide/Patient Access Technician, you will: •Facilitate patient enrollment in outpatient programs through accurate capture of patient information (clinical and demographic) via electronic and paper means. •Answer phones and perform scheduling functions courteously and promptly using customer-centered language. •Assist the therapy team members with the delivery of hands-on care as directed and instructed. •Maintain the department's cleanliness and supplies through cleaning, organizing, stocking, and ordering materials and supplies. •Participate in tasks such as faxing, scanning, report generation, and other administrative tasks as requested and instructed. •Have additional duties as assigned. Qualifications include: •High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred Associate degree in a health-related field •Preferred 1-2 years experience in a customer-facing role in healthcare •Active American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Work Schedule: Per diem commitment- minimum 2 shifts per month, Monday-Friday #GR8 Allied Healthcare At Adventist HealthCare our job is to care for you.
