The Supervision and Risk Management (SRM) Division of the Bank applies integrated supervision to promote the safety and soundness of bank holding companies, savings and loan holding companies, and state-chartered member banks. About the Role: This position will require you to work out of the Kansas City or Denver office. While some work from home flexibility exists, remote employment is not available. Our SRM – Support Solutions team is looking for an Analyst to join our team. As part of our team, you will be in a department that performs analytical and administrative responsibilities to support the Federal Reserve's responsibility to supervisor and regulate banks and other important financial institutions. Analysts on our team provide a wide range of analytical support to the SRM Division, working directly with Bank Officers, Managers, and internal and external customers as part of a centralized support department. In this position you will provide project management, technical support, and workgroup representation related to several System and Division projects. Additionally, you will partner with local and System stakeholders to determine build out and develop budgets and sustainable frameworks to support the reports for managing the data and records. Our analysts are afforded opportunities to be exposed to all the SRM Division's area responsibilities, while gaining experience, knowledge, and skill that are transferable to other roles across the Federal Reserve Bank. Your contributions will further our mission to ensure broad internal and external engagement, communication, and outreach. Key Activities: Manage and perform project related work such as department operational improvements, and executing on System, Division, and Bank initiatives. Coordinate activities designed to find and address risk related to the management of supervisory data and records. Manage, coordinate, or conduct activities designed to identify and mitigate risk related to the management of supervisory data and records. Conduct quantitative and/or qualitive analysis, which may include identifying trends, monitoring data, preparing reports and/or visualizations, providing recommendations, and presenting findings. Assess newly developed System and District guidance and recommend process changes to ensure compliance. Research industry practices, collect and analyze data, draw conclusions, and present results. Participate in budget related activities, such as developing and monitoring budget, compiling data, monitoring expenses, responding to inquiries, providing documentation, explaining variances, presenting to management, and providing rationale and recommendations. Manage, coordinate, or conduct activities related to identifying and managing department and Division risks, such as internal audits; compliance and risk management; and Business Continuity testing and plan maintenance. Explore and learn new technology platforms and provide recommendations for applying available technology to improve business processes. Manage learning related activities, such as mandatory training session recordkeeping and proficiency examination administration. What We Look For Interest in and knowledge of data and analytics preferred. Strong customer service orientation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent combination of directly related education and/or experience. This position typically does not require any previous experience, but 3 years of relevant experience or more is preferred. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future. This position has additional screening requirements due to the information accessed while performing the job. These additional screenings would be initiated at the time of offer acceptance and can take up to a couple of months to be completed. You can begin work before the screening is completed; however, continued employment is contingent on acceptable screening results. The areas screened may include education/employment verification, criminal history, credit history, and reference checks. In some cases, positions require access to confidential supervisory information, access to which is limited to "Protected Individuals" as defined by regulation of the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System, 12 CFR 268.205. Protected Individuals include, but are not limited to, U.S. citizens, U.S. nationals, and lawful permanent resident aliens (also known as "green card holders") who are eligible for and seeking United States citizenship within the requisite timeframes.
