What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Busser/Food Runner position at 1685?
Our restaurant is looking for a reliable and experienced individual to fill the position of Food Runner. The ideal candidate has a passion for food and an eye for detail. The Food Runner will be required to keep the service line moving at all times by serving bread and butter, passing beverages and preparing appetizers, salads, entrees and desserts. Ideally, the successful candidate will have 1 years of bar, restaurant and/or hotel experience.
Responsibilities:
- Carry extra food to tables in a restaurant.
- Lift heavy trays and tubes.
- Clear dirty dishes from tables.
- Listen for orders in noisy restaurants.
- Perform multiple tasks at once.
- Expedite food delivery to tables.
- Run or walk quickly between the kitchen and tables.
- Interact with different people in a restaurant.
- Move about the restaurant quickly.
- Understand and follow instructions from head server or manager.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Temporary
Pay: $10.00 - $12.00 per hour
