Position Reports To: EVP/CCO or VP/Sr. Lending Officer Positions Supervised: N/A
POSITION PURPOSE
The Credit Analyst offers support to staff in the Loan Production Office. This position performs tasks with the goal of increasing and managing the loan portfolio. Adheres to Core Values and promotes Value Driven Culture at all times. Performs duties in compliance with regulatory requirements including, but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act.
Requirements
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
- Prepares financial statement spreads and credit authorizations.
- Provides analysis for Loan Officers to assist in decisioning and presenting loans to the Loan Committee.
- Meets with customers as directed by Loan Officer. Participates in joint calling customers and prospects in collaboration with Loan Officers.
- Prepares annual term loan reviews.
- Requests updated annual financial information as required for specific borrowers. Maintains a tracking system for such information.
- Assists Loan Officer in monitoring specific loans for covenant compliance.
- Assists Loan Processor in maintaining credit files and keeping them up to date.
- Adheres to Core Values and promotes Value Driven Culture at all times.
- Responsible for complying with the Bank Secrecy Act policies and procedures, including attendance at annual training, as directed by the Bank Secrecy Act Officer.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience Required: One - three years’ experience in a similar or related field.
Required Knowledge: Knowledge of business skills and acumen.
Skills/Abilities: Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Strong organizational and problem solving skills are required.
