What are the responsibilities and job description for the Gate Attendant position at 1st Class Security, Inc?
Part-time positions available
- Greet customers and guests in a friendly and courteous manner. (Customer Service)
- Observe and report any activities and or incidents at client sites
- Check all in-coming and out-going vehicles for correct merchandise and correct quantities.
Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
Part-time / 1-29 hours per week
Full-time/ 30-40 hours per week
$16.00 per hour / Week days
$17.00 per hour / Weekends
Job Requirement:
- Pre-Employment criminal background and drug screen
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for up to 3-4 hours at a time
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to communicate clearly and accurately through verbal and written means
- Ability to write legible, accurate and easily understood reports
- Must be assertive, yet controlled in dealing with confrontation
- Must be trustworthy and able to work under little or no direct supervision
- Attendance for scheduled shifts. Tardiness and absenteeism is not tolerated
- Previous loss prevention experience a plus, but not a requirement
- High school diploma or equivalent (minimum)
- Criminal Justice or related studies a plus
