1st Financial Bank USA (1fBUSA) invites applicants to apply for the position of Digital & Video Content Producer, who will play a key role in marketing and business development. We are seeking a creative and skilled visual storyteller who has the ability to work with multiple areas within the business to deliver top-notch production of promotional, educational, and recruiting content all the way from concept to completion. The ideal candidate is an avid content consumer with a mind for marketing who is capable of understanding how to reach target demographics while taking into account the latest digital trends. Content will appear across various web and social platforms.
This role will concept ideas, determine direction, and execute all video for 1FBUSA and its affiliate brand, CollegeData. Typical day-to-day responsibilities will include researching, planning, collaborating with diverse segments of people, scriptwriting, interviewing, shooting A and B-roll footage, editing, and creating graphics. A savvy knowledge of cameras, microphones, lighting, and complex editing software is a must. The perfect candidate will be ready to act as on-screen talent when needed.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Bank and CollegeData teams, as well as subject matter experts, to develop engaging video concepts with an emphasis on storytelling with the purpose of reaching target demographics and generation conversations and conversions while maintaining brand consistency.
- Perform full production of multimedia content from concept to final outputscripting, storyboarding, scheduling, directing talent, capturing video & audio, importing media, designing & inserting static or motion graphics, editing, adding music/voiceovers/sound effects, adjusting to feedback, encoding, and delivering finished projects within given timeframes, and archiving project media.
- Produce videos relating to the following areas: product marketing, product education, customer stories, social videos, recruiting videos, and other enterprise-wide projects.
- Work independently and collaborate closely with project stakeholders within the business including but not limited to: Legal/Compliance, Collections, Human Resources, Marketing, CollegeData, etc.
- Maintain awareness of competitor video strategies, and stay informed on visual content production and delivery trends.
- Communicate with outside production vendors or talent as needed.
- Design graphics and write corresponding copy to accompany video content.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Associate degree in marketing, advertising, video production, communications, journalism, public relations, graphic design, or related field is preferred.
- Experience: 1 year relevant experience.
- Language/Reasoning/Mathematical or other specific skills: High Proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite; Advanced knowledge in skillfully operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting video, audio, and lighting equipment; strong understanding of fundamental design, sense of color, typography and composition Creativity; Knowledge of video usage on social, websites, and other digital assets; On-screen performance familiarity; Strong verbal and written communication skills; Organization and time management; Natural sense of curiosity and willingness to experiment; Must maintain a valid driver’s license and good driving record; No travel restrictions; Ability to routinely lift, carry and move equipment in excess of 40 lbs.
