1st Security Bank is looking to find a dynamic individual to fill our Post Close Specialist position in our Secondary Marketing department at our Mountlake Terrace Administration Building! POSITION SUMMARY
1st Security Bank is hiring a Post-Closing Specialist for its Mountlake Terrace, WA location! Are you looking to get started in Mortgage Finance? Do you thrive in details? This position is responsible for various activities required for the administration of mortgage loans from funding through investor purchase.
POSITION HOURS:
8:00AM to 5:00PM Monday through Friday
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES include the following:
- Responsible for management of the shipping pipeline to ensure all shipping and lock due dates are met.
- Review and coordinate clearing of funding purchase conditions for each investor.
- Maintain contact with the Investor to review any outstanding conditions and to follow up on status of purchase.
- Review loan files post-funding and perform tasks to complete the transaction utilizing company processes and checklists.
- Responsible for management of FHA, VA and USDA insuring pipeline in accordance with department policies for timely completion of insurance activities.
- Review and certification of insuring packages for FHA, VA, USDA and WSHFC.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in a Finance related Major
- At least 2 years of related experience required
- Minimum of 5 years of mortgage banking experience in lending, closing, title, escrow, or related fields preferred.

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to provide best in class customer service to other departments.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis in Excel and Access
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment.
- Strong organization and time management skills as well as close attention to detail.
- Experience with Encompass and Optimal Blue would be a plus.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should be proficient in Microsoft Office Products and other Database software. Solid word processing and computer database skills with accurate keyboarding at 60 wpm.
