Applies industry best practices in design and development principals. Demonstrates advanced technical and training skills to serve as a lead and mentor for online digital learning. Minimum Job Qualifications Licensure or other certifications: Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in instructional design, instructional technology, curriculum development, Graphic Design, Communication, Multimedia or applicable field. Minimum Experience: Experience with SCORM requirements; A minimum of five (5) years of training or operational work experience. 3-5 years' experience with instructional design authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, Lectora, or other). Expert in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite; conferencing technology and Learning Management Systems and e-learning creation tools. Excellent public speaking and presentation skills, and ability to communicate and collaborate one-on-one as well as with groups. Organize and prioritize workload; work well under pressure. Manage multiple assignments effectively and pay close attention to detail. Work independently with minimal supervision. Utilizes independent judgment and critical thinking skills Essential Tasks and Responsibilities Design and develop interactive course storyboards and templates; Developing and maintaining eLearning content and modules Applies best practices in innovation, design and development principles to all training programs. Utilizes data analytics to evaluate user adoption of systems and identify improvement opportunities. Contributes to a work environment of caring and cooperation among a culturally diverse workforce and patient population. Create video production including audio and video editing in SCORM; Develop illustrations, graphics, etc. to support the course content Designing and developing eLearning course templates alongside instructional designers and other eLearning developers; serving as a mentor or expert in the field. Mentors and partners with Principal Trainers to produce high quality eLearning content by providing technical support and expertise. Works with the LMS Administrator structuring course and curricula offerings. Leads new developments in education and training with interaction online methodologies and implements as deemed appropriate. Promotes a climate for the participant that encourages learning and self-motivation through the application of principles of adult learning. Ensures communication and training programs meet the organizational needs. Develops instructor's manuals, rubrics, and other teaching tools for instructional design authoring tools. Consult and collaborate with business partners, stakeholders and executive sponsors to ensure support for learning is understood and actively supported. Create digital assets for eLearning courses and define success measurements per learning objectives Collaborating with other members of the Learning Committee and Training Team to brainstorm, problem-solve, and content review; Assume a lead role in development, testing, refreshes and updates of various training environments and serves as a preceptor/mentor to other Principal Trainers. Leads and mentors other trainers in building and maintaining training environments for the EHR and other third party systems. Independently troubleshoots issues with mitosis, duplication and other environment issues. Serve as the mitosis expert for the Master Training environments as assigned. Responsible for leading initiatives in researching and participating in current evidence-based clinical or professional development activities. Participate in a variety of orientation programs requiring technical system training support and best practice for training delivery. Examples include Provider Orientation; Nursing and Clinical Orientation; Allied Health Orientation; Business Systems and Leadership Onboarding. Provide technical and training support for authoring tools to training team.
