We have immediate openings for experienced salespeople to drive consumer sales of Samsung Electronics America devices, including phones, tablets, wearables, and mobile computing.
Day-in-the-Life as a Retail Sales Associate*:
- Demonstrate, sell and promote Samsung products in Best Buy.
- Ensure that the consumers have the latest and most relevant product information at their fingertips when making a purchase decision.
- Be able to not only promote the Samsung brand to customers, but work closely with store associates and management to build tight-knit relationships.
- Be the "go to" for training new hires within the market
- Assist in covering work shifts within the assigned market when call outs or vacancies occur

Job Description:
- Support retail partners and customers throughout an interactive consumer experience
- Increase client market share through daily direct and indirect sales activities
- Manage performance against established sales goals
- Build and sustain quality relationships with key retail partners to successfully position client's portfolio of products and meet or exceed performance targets
- Convert retail partners and customers into loyal brand advocates
- Elevate brand presence through merchandising strategies, display maintenance and POP compliance
- Conduct consumer facing interactions - demonstrate key features, assist customers with device setup, and trouble shoot issues
- Maintain expert level product knowledge for all products, devices, and services
- Demonstrate effective decision-making skills and the ability to reason and take action in resolving problems
- Complete call reports, paperwork, and on-going personal training in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines
- Be the "go to" for training new hires assigned to a retailer within the market
- Assist in covering other retail locations within the assigned market when call outs or vacancies occur
Performance Measurements:
- Meet or exceed all sales, training, and performance metrics
- Provide a consultative experience and provide recommendations based on customer needs
- Educate, train, and promote product feature/benefit information to customers and retail partners
- Effectively establish, maintain, and influence business relationships to increase market share and advocacy
- Exhibit an energetic and enthusiastic attitude with friendly positive interpersonal communication skills
- Provide exceptional customer service for post-purchase support (e.g. phone setup, email, apps, etc.)
- Record and maintain appropriate documentation
Qualifications:
- Must be tech-savvy and have a passion for working with mobility products and technology
- 2 years previous retail selling experience in consumer electronics or other technical/wireless products preferred
- 1 year(s) of successful training experience, within direct marketing/telecommunications preferred
- Goal oriented with ability to demonstrate impeccable integrity and trust
- Strong background in operational excellence and merchandising execution
- Ability to work independently and stay organized, motivated, focused and efficient
- Ability to work a flexible retail schedule
- Must have and maintain reliable transportation to assigned store and arrive on time for assigned shift(s)
- Regular physical activity may be required, e.g., setting up promotional material
- Ability to stand comfortably for up to 8 hours a day
- Daily access to a PC computer with internet/email access
- Proficient working knowledge of Windows and MS Office
