Job Title: Sales and Service Associates


Samsung Electronics America and 2020 Companies have partnered to hire experienced part-time Sales and Service Associates within the retail space.


Samsung Stores are an interactive and fun product theater designed to treat shoppers to an immersive experience with Samsung’s products and services. At a Samsung Experience Store, we want customers to learn by experiencing Samsung products first-hand while receiving world-class service and sales experience.


As a Sales and Service Associate, you will work directly with customers and indirect service team to make appointments, level 1 diagnose devices and begin creating a service repair ticket for the customer. The Sales and Service Associate will exceed the customers expectations for repair services while driving best in class experiences that deliver world class customer satisfaction and sales.


Some of your day-to-day tasks:

  • Responsible for all store performance and the customer experience within the location
  • Provide level 1 diagnostic support for all customers mobile devices including mobile phones, wearables and computing
  • Provide support in scheduling customer service appointments and managing queue
  • Handle customer escalations for service customers
  • Work closely with service repair team, as well as peers within the store, to build and maintain strong relationships, while providing the best consumer experience
  • Engage consumers by showcasing key features and benefits, selling products, assisting with the setup of new/current devices and troubleshooting issues
  • Provide follow up phone calls to verify appointments for customers and provide them with the necessary information on how to prepare their device for service
  • Are able to work in a fast paced environment with a high sense of urgency
  • Patient and enjoy solving tough problems
  • Take pride in explaining and helping others understand problems and solutions
  • Thorough–no detail goes unnoticed
  • Self-motivated, but also enjoy contributing to a team
  • Have the ability to switch gears quickly and readjust your focus appropriately
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • 1 – 3 years of retail experience
  • Use personal wireless device (cell phone) to clock in/out per shift using store Wi-Fi
  • Technical Knowledge: Proficient in Android Hardware
  • Must be able to work retail Mall hours (nights/weekends/holidays)
  • Outgoing personality; able to relate at all levels
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Video interview within 24 hours of screening
  • Background check

Not Required, but Preferable:

  • Retail and mall experience a plus
  • Background in mobile phones or similar technology a plus
  • Bilingual (Chinese/Korean/Spanish) speaking a plus

  • They will lead the way in delivering a transformational experience in-store by recommending product and service solutions to fit their personal, work, and school needs

  • Can document customer issues in our state-of-the-art help desk applications
  • Comfortable working with time tracking tools, updating tickets from computers or mobile devices
  • Are outgoing, friendly, and ready to start every day with a positive attitude

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 1 - 3 years of retail experience plus 1 year supervisory or management experience working with any of the larger wireless carriers is a plus, including consumer electronics stores
  • Tech-savvy and enjoy working with interactive technology devices
  • Presentation skills, experience in giving presentations in small or larg
