Job Description Summary: Job Description: The ADI-Trinamic team seeking a motivated Junior Analog IC Design Engineer to provide support to our Connected Motion and Robotics BU located at ADI’s Milan/Hamburg Design Centers. The candidate will join a multiple locations talented team of Analog, Digital, Mixed-Signal designers, Verification engineers, Algorithm developers and Test engineers implementing motor drivers and products for motion control applications. The candidate will have the opportunity to grow professionally learning all the key aspects of IC product design and to contribute to the development of innovative and power efficient motion control solutions. The candidate within the analog team will be involved in System IC top level design and development from definition to production of many analog IP (LDO, Buck, Charge Pump, PLL, References, ADC, DAC, ) Responsibilities include, but not limited to: Motor driver Analog IP Development: Define IP Specifications, IP design and simulations Motor driver IC Development: Execute on Motor driver products IC design, pre-silicon verification and post-silicon validation Provide guidance to physical design layout team Participate in customer engagements, in support of technical feasibility IC Design Lab validation and Test Engineer support till product productions release Improve Team Methodologies and enable a culture of continuous learning and improvement Minimum qualifications Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering Good technical and analytical background, with good problem-solving skills Good team worker with multi-discipline IP Analog Design experience Good written and verbal communication Preferred qualifications Proficient with Cadence Suite (Virtuoso ADE Spectre) Analog Functional and Parametric Verification (Process - Voltage - Temperature Corners, Layout Parameter Extraction Simulations) Lab silicon bring-up experience Scripting languages Good understanding of Mixed-Signal Design Flow and Top-Down development methodology HDL programming languages (Verilog / SystemVerilog) Analog Behavioral Models (Verilog-A, Verilog-AMS) Education: Work Experience: Pay Rate Type: Salary Eligible for Relocation: Yes Eligible for Work Visa Sponsorship: Yes This position may require a deemed export control license for compliance with applicable laws and regulations; including but not limited to US Government International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR), US Export Administration Regulations (EAR), or US Treasury Regulations.
