What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Coordinator position at 20th Century Studios?
Each Production Executive is assigned live action feature films and manages the projects from the pre-production period thru the wrap of principal photography; which entails daily interaction with the film makers and oversight of the production during the filming process. Physical Production interfaces with many other Studio departments, including but not limited to, Post, VFX, Creative, Labor Relations, and Legal.

Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production or equivalent.
Responsibilities :
- Works directly with and assists two Production Executives.
- Coordinates all features directly associated with the Production Executive’s from pre-production through the wrap of physical production in concert with other team members.
- Maintains Studio policies and procedure manuals and other related materials for the Studio which are distributed to the films supervised by the executive.
- Manages incoming materials which include maintaining lists & contracts, databases, researching information, compiling, archiving and securing files.
- Specializes in international production procedures (communicating with film commissions & production service teams, obtaining relevant work visas, etc.)
- Works directly with production companies to secure day-to-day updates during set-up and production.
- Answers and screens phones for production executive.
- Schedules appointments and other film related activities.
- Arranges travel as needed.
- Performs occasional script analysis (breakdown sets, cast & location).
- Completes special projects as required by the production team as needed.

Basic Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s Degree in Film Production or equivalent.
- Solid familiarity with Film Production.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint). SAP knowledge a plus.
- Computer skills – budgeting and scheduling (MMB and MMS); Mac knowledgeable; familiarity with Final Draft.
- Demonstrates ability to prioritize, multi-task, meet deadlines, make preliminary decisions and change course of action quickly.
- Detail oriented with the ability to work well under pressure and maintain professionalism and service orientation.
- Strong organizational and follow-thru skills, keeping manager informed on completed tasks and status of current tasks at hand.
- Strong assistant skills a must (phones, calendar, contacts). Ability to resolve routine issues and raise complex issues to management.
- Ability to work with highly confidential material.
- Effective communicator, both verbally and written.
- Ability to take initiative and work with minimum supervision.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in multiple foreign languages
- Experience working with multiple countries/cultures
- Demonstrates patience and flexibility in a fast-paced environment
