POSITION: Senior Accountant REPORTS TO: Controller
STATUS: Full Time, Exempt DEPARTMENT: Accounting
POSITION SUMMARY:
As a 211 LA Senior Accountant, you are responsible for analyzing complex financial records and reports and overseeing the accounting operations from inputting, reconciling, and processing invoices, expense reimbursements, credit cards, and bank transactions to preparing financial statements and reports. The candidate should have a drive and desire to support the organization's successful growth. This also involves managing and working with finance co-workers and other leaders within the Organization.

$70,000 - $85,000

ANALYTICAL/REASONING REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to evaluate and resolve problems involving multiple variables in complex situations. It requires excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively with internal and external customers. Ability to manage high-stress levels; possess well-proven time management skills, allowing movement from one task to another on a moment’s notice and still completing projects on time.

POSITION SUMMARY:

POSITION ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
- Prepare monthly closing journal entries and maintain reconciliations for balance sheet and income statement accounts.
- Manage monthly reconciliation schedules, such as but not limited to fixed assets and accrued liabilities ledgers.
- Perform analyses on specific General Ledger accounts, budget to actual reports, or re-forecast to actual reports.
- Assist in gathering and compiling the information for the annual and 6-month budgets and re-forecasts, respectively.
- Compile data and schedules required for audits and tax filings.
- Management of other Accounting staff.
- Protect the organization’s value and certain payable data by keeping information confidential.
- Update job knowledge by seeking and participating in educational opportunities.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
