Roles and Responsibilities:
- Apply protective or injury-preventive devices, such as tape, bandages, and braces
- Recognize and evaluate injuries
- Provide first aid or emergency care
- Develop and carry out rehabilitation programs for injured athletes
- Plan and implement comprehensive programs to prevent injury and illness among athletes
- Perform administrative tasks, such as keeping records and writing reports on injuries and treatment programs
Required Skills:
- Ability to examine processes, policies, and problems and offer solutions
- Have an overall positive and supportive attitude of yourself, your team members, and the company
- Ability to work in a team environment
Required Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in athletic training from accredited school required
Required License/Certification:
- Must have and maintain Tennessee State Licensure as an athletic trainer and Board of Certification (BOC). Up-to-date CPR required.
